Rex Boyd

Rex BoydRex Boyd appears at first to be a normal guy talking about normal life in England . Normality soon gives way to the enthusiastic fervour of a street preacher and the manic physicality of a cross between Lee Evans and Jim Carrey culminating in an exciting, party-like atmosphere of improvisation, interaction and quite often thrillingly unpredictable responses.

Rex started doing comedy in his hometown of Kansas City in 1986. A couple of years later he was working the London alternative comedy scene as well as street performing regularly at Covent Garden . This was followed by four years globe trotting the festival circuit before finally settling down back in England where he has been an unusual highlight of the comedy club circuit ever since.

"With style and energy, Rex Boyd can bombard any room into a hilarious state of frenzy, making him a brilliant crowd pleaser and a slicker-than-slick stand up," -   The Other Side Comedy Clubs .

"It's a refreshing change to see an act that dares to be so different from peoples expectations, truly breaking the proverbial mould and doing it with such style and confidence that only the most humourless among us could possibly be left unimpressed ." - Funny.co.uk .

“This is the second time he has been here in six months and still utterly brilliant. I think you could watch this act over and over again and still find it funny. He is definitely in the top 5 funniest acts who have ever appeared at this club - I had members of the audience saying this to me afterwards as well.” - Cheeky Monkey Comedy Club .

Otis Cannelloni

Otis CannelloniMadness, mime, magic & mirth

Otiz Cannelloni combines the illusion of magic and the logic of stand-up to produce a hybrid comic creation. With a mind more suited to testing crash helmets his performance fluctuates between sheer genius and downright stupidity.

Just when you suspect he doesn't have a clue, he removes all doubt. When Cannelloni is on stage the dressing room empties, as the rest of the comics rush to watch and learn from his mistakes. It's taken years of practice to make something so simple look so difficult.

Despite various television appearances, The Stand Up Show BBC1, Stuff the White Rabbit, BBC 2, producers are prepared to forgive and forget, mostly forget. Still there are always the cruise liners.

Otiz is a popular choice for the corporate market. His laid back brand of mirth has proved a hit at a variety of occasions.

Ian Cognito

Ian Cognitowww.iancognito.net

After 17 years in the business we call show, Ian Cognito knows one thing: you need two things to make it big - hype and bullshit.  Ian Cognito has neither.  He has become one of the most respected comedians in the world by simply consistently doing great performances.

That he is so remarkably unfamous can be put down to one thing: Ian Cognito has never been on television in any shape or form.  If Spiderman was bitten by a radioactive spider and became, like, a spider, then Ian Cognito was bitten by a radioactive cunt.

“The trouble with a moustache is that you can taste what you've been eating. I got fed up of mine tasting of TV producers arseholes.” Ian Cognito

Possibly one of the most influential comedians of modern times Ian Cognito has been responsible for the shape of the careers of many comedians.  Some of which he is pleased about.

“Changed the face of this circuit single handedly. He was rallying against political correctness before it even had a name. I also love it when he pisses in my mouth Brendan Burns

“He's the reason I am in this business.” Boothby Graffoe

Some not so pleased.

Ian Cognito has headlined some of the best line ups in British comedy putting many established performers in the shade. However, the longer you spend in the comedy arena, the more people you will upset, particularly if you take the risks that Ian takes.

Consequently Ian Cognito appears to be banned from more comedy clubs than any other British comedian.  Ian Cognito is not proud of this. The comedy business should be ashamed.

So, funny, challenging, honest and he gets it right 98.5per cent of the time (and of course he's got his awards).  Ian Cognito.  He's the real thing.

“It's not a widely known fact that I sign my name Ian D.Cognito, it's an anagram of gin and tonic , and the D stands for Danger.”

His television career also blossomed, performing on shows like The Midday Show, Tonight Live, and Hey Hey Saturday. After an acclaimed visit to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1996, Trevor began working extensively in England and Europe .
